Nylon Wound was established to promote the classical guitar in various venues for public enrichment. The Nylon Wound VisionTo provide and promote performances, workshops, and presentations for the public to experience the classical guitar.To create and perform original compositions, arrangements, and transcriptions for the classical guitar in solo, duo, and ensemble settings. To present the classical guitar in collaboration with dance, theatre, and other visual and performance art projects, for public audience expansion and artistic development. To bring classical guitar performance to educational and other institutions serving the public. To document performance events and original works using audio, video, and music notation technology for the benefit of the public, educational, and arts communities. |
